Weed Control

There are many ways to control weeds the most common is using basically poison to kill the weeds. There are many different types of products that you can use to kill the weeds but we are not stopping them from growing back. For example, if we have knotweeds that tells you that the soil is to compact and one has to get rid of that problem and not be lazy and use a herbicide that will just kill all plants.

Herbicides usually are used as sprays the only problem with these is that they don't only kill the weeds but all the plants, trees, shrubs so we have to be careful around these plants. Granulated herbicides are the most practical type but aren't as effective as the liquid sprays. Either way if one has a weed we can't wait for it to grow more than three inches because then if you are planting vegetables it will probably uproot the vegetable and I am pretty sure the whole point is for us take them out once they are ready.

One can also utilize mulches to prevent weed germination and growth, and ultimately reduce time and labor required to remove weeds. Organic mulches are comprised of bark chips, manure, and straw. Inorganic mulches are comprised of black plastic which is recommended because it retains the light unlike clear plastic. Ultimately there are various ways how to control weeds and you just have to find the most efficient and the most effective way.
